Overview
Versacryl is KEYSTONE's flexible thermoplastic denture base — a biocompatible nylon-based material for fabricating partial denture frameworks and unilateral appliances without the metal clasps of a conventional chrome-cobalt frame. The material is heat-pressed or injected into a flasked mold, then cools to a translucent gum-color framework that retains on the abutment teeth via mechanical undercuts rather than rigid metal clasps.
Patients prefer the esthetics (no visible silver clasps) and the comfortable flex of the framework against Soft tissue. Lab benefit: a metal-free framework processing workflow that avoids the casting and finishing steps of a chrome-cobalt frame.
