DIRECTION FOR USE
1. Dry off the occlusal surface of the tooth or restoration being checked.
2. Have the patient bite down on the ARTICULATING film. The practitioner can pull on the
film while the patient bites to better aid in identifying the areas of heavy contact.
3. To identify any shift during occlusal contact have the patient tap on the ARTICULATING
film, do not have them grind around on the film, as this may leave false markings.
4. To check anterior or posterior guidance have the patient bite on the ARTICULATING film
and slide the mandible anteriorly or to the left/right, this will leave distinct markings
where interference’s may be present.
