Overview

KEYSTONE Blue MOUNTED Silicon-Carbide STONES are formulated for finishing chrome-cobalt partial-denture frameworks and other base-metal alloys. The Blue bond is engineered to cut hard base metals at a controlled rate without overheating, leaving a finish suitable for subsequent polishing. Useful across the framework workflow — from rough trim after divestment through final pre-polish contouring.

Color-coding is critical: Blue STONES are specifically for chrome-cobalt and base-metal alloys. (Green is for porcelain/composite; pink is for noble-metal ceramic alloys; white is for non-precious ceramic; red is for general purpose.)

• Blue silicon-carbide bond. Engineered for chrome-cobalt and base-metal alloys — cuts hard base metals at a controlled rate.
• 3/32" HP shank, pre-MOUNTED. No separate mandrel required.
