Features:
* HANDLER mfg model 236FH-2 Fume Hood is made of heavy gauge sheet steel, and designed to be mounted on a studded wall and ducted to an area outside the building.
* The unit runs on 115V/60Hz and draws 2.5 amps. It should be wired by a licensed electrician; typically, the motor is wired to a wall mounted switch near the Fume Hood.
* The Fume hood should be mounted at an appropriate height above the source of the fumes. If the Fume hood is being mounted over a denture curing unit, it should be mounted 24-30" above the unit. Distance for other items will vary depending on the size of the equipment and the type of fumes generated.
*If the length of the ducting is greater than 10-12 feet, one booster fan should be installed in the ductwork for each additional 10 feet of distance. Additional information is included in the instructions; model # is 236FH-B.
